Bus yard housing plans call for more than 500 units, 50 percent affordable

For the first time ever, SFMTA is setting out to build a housing development on top of a bus yard. In addition to the bus yard on the lower level, the development would also include stores facing the street. The housing development will have 525 housing units, and 50 percent of them will be affordable housing. It would be better if they could increase it to 100% affordable housing, but it looks like that is not the plan as of yet.
