Challenge filed to invalidate S.F.'s Prop C homelessness measure

Prop. C was passed to impose a tax on companies that have a revenue above $50 million in order to use the money to help homeless people. However, the measure will not be implemented anytime soon because of legal issues. Some business and taxpayer associations are trying to argue that the measure violated the state Constitution because it only passed with a simple majority vote.
